  • Agency Billed Policies – Commissions are retained upfront. If a policy cancels mid-term, we will request repayment of any unearned commission from your agency. We recommend collecting deposit premiums from insures when policies are bound.
  • Direct Billed Policies – Commission payments are issued on a monthly basis when funds are received from carriers.

Claims Reporting

  • In the event of a claim, please complete an Acord loss form and email it to Once received, we will report it to the appropriate carrier. If the insured would like to report directly to the carrier, please review the policy for additional information and notify Gorst & Compass.

After your application is approved, your agency will be assigned an agency code number. We will schedule an onboarding meeting and provide your team with information regarding markets, products and services we provide access to.
